Animal Crossing, released in the year 2001, is a life simulation video game and also a localized version of Animal Forest. Nintendo EAD developed, and Nintendo published it for the GameCube. The game was enhanced and released with additional features and improvements on GameCube as compared to its first Nintendo 64 version. It is also an open-ended game, where a playable character is a human who moves into a village that is populated with anthropomorphic animals.
The game Animal Crossing is played in real-time, observing all the days, weeks, months, and years by using the internal clock of the GameCube. Additionally, many real-life festivals and holidays in the year are also added, such as the Harvest Festival, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, Toy Day, Christmas, and Halloween. There are many tasks which the player must complete and to achieve their goals. Other than tasks, the player can also perform other activities such as the early-morning fitness classes and fishing tournaments. Again, when the players stop playing, they can go directly and talk to their Gyroid, who is a creature living next to their house, to preserve their progress.
Animal Crossing ROM needs an emulator called GameCube, which should be already downloaded and installed on your device to play the game. You can run GameCube emulators on platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, and MAC. Some of the best GameCube emulators include SuperGCube, Dolphin, GCEMU, and Dolwin.
