Bakugan Battle Brawlers, released in the year 2009, is an action video game based on the anime series Bakugan Battle Brawlers. NOW Production developed the game, and Activision published it for Nintendo DS.
The game starts where the player character meets Dan Kuso, one of the Battle Brawlers, and teaches the player to fight against Pyrus Serpenoid. Then, the player meets another character named Alice, who suggests battle with other brawlers in the park to gain Bakugan Points (BP), the game's currency.
The types of battles in Bakugan Battle Brawlers are different from general rules and that from the anime series. The players here will get a gate card at the beginning of the game to land on the battlefield. After that, the players need to select one of their Bakugan and throw them away by steering and aiming to make it land where it is required. Also, there are two ways in which the player can win a gate card; by battling or a Double Stand, the player makes two Bakugan land on the same gate card.
