Dragon Quest III, also known as Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation, is a role-playing game. It is the third title in the Dragon Quest game series. As the daughter and son of the respected Hero Ortega, the player must set out with three fellow party members and retrace her/his father's steps to save the world. Dragon Quest III has a high encounter rate, so combat is where the player will spend most of the time. But before moving forward toward the action, the player has to form a party. The party members include a warrior for the combat and to cause damage, a cleric to heal the wounds, and a mage to blow things up. Baramos, a wicked monster, threatens to destroy the world. The story revolves around the (Hero) son or daughter of the legendary warrior Ortega. King of Aliahan summons the Hero and gives the challenge to rid the world of the evil Baramos. The Hero leaves to travel the world and collect the last two of the three keys needed to open doors. Throughout the journey, the Hero acquires the final Key and the six mystical orbs. Hero then travels to Baramos' castle. After defeating Baramos in a ferocious battle, Zoma Baramos's master and the actual villain reveal his existence and open the dark world. To beat Zoma, the Hero has to collect various artifacts. In the final battle with the ball of light, the Hero defeats Zoma and vanishes from Alefgard, and leaves the sword and armor behind to pass down for the future.
