Beavis And Butt-Head, released in 1994, are three tie-in video games based on the animated series Beavis and Butt-Head. Realtime Associates developed the game, and Viacom New Media published it for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. They advertised the game as featuring music by the band.
The story starts with Butthead and Beavis rocking out with two tickets to GWAR, and in front of Tom Anderson, his dog likes them, barfs them up; lastly, his lawnmower cuts them up and leaves them all over town. And, it is up to Butthead and Beavis to discover those pieces for the GWAR concert.
The game only shares similar gameplay of the basic premise including the titular characters exploring tickets to a Gwar concert from the rest of the versions. The main objectives of the players in Beavis and Butt-Head are to discover their torn-up Gwar concert tickets. In Beavis and Butt-Head, there is an option to swap between the two characters in single-player by pressing MODE, or they can plug in an extra controller for two-player. The default weapon for Butthead is Fart and Burp as Beavis's weapon. Other weapons available for the game players include Toy Gun, Baseball Bat, and Spit Shooter.
