Sonic Adventure 2, released in Europe in the year 2001, is a platform video game and is a sequel to Sonic Adventure. Sonic Team USA developed, and Sega published the game for the Sega Dreamcast. 

Game Plot

The game features two stories, which is good-vs-evil where Sonic the Hedgehog Knuckles the Echidna and Miles Tail power tries to protect the world from Rouge the Bat, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Doctor Eggman who is trying to conquer it. The gameplays of Sonic Adventure 2 are split into three styles, namely, action-exploration for Rouge and Knuckles, a fast-paced platformer for Shadow and Sonic, and multi-directional shooting for Doctor Eggman and Tails. 

Gameplay

The game is also classified into two campaigns, the Dark and Hero. In the Dark, the player takes control of Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge the Bat, and Doctor Eggman, who are fighting to conquer the world. Whereas in the Hero, the players take control of Knuckles, Sonic, and Tails, who strive to save the world. Each campaign has different levels, which three of the characters follow, and these levels are in several themes such as outer space, desert pyramids, jungles, and cities.
