It is a role-playing dungeon crawler game released for the PlayStation Portable in 2010. After 20 years of peace on Earth, the player gets an invitation from an alien supercomputer hidden within the moon to fight in a tournament for the Holy Grail. It is a device that fulfills wishes. The participants have to fight ferociously. With the player's legendary soul, a magical servant fights instead. The player has to defeat other masters in weekly elimination battles. The player gets the chance to choose the servants, and each has a different personality. The player suffers from amnesia, and that severely weakens the servant. To win the elimination match, the player has to reveal the opponent's techniques before the fight. The player can unlock enemy secrets by snooping, sparring, or stealing items. The combat has rock-paper-scissors mechanics. The player has three maneuvers- attack, guard, and break. Guard can counter any attack, but break cuts through a guard. Side quests also come up if the player explores the schoolyard. It is an intriguing game that features solid characters, a fantastic story, and sound art.
The game takes place in a school called Tsukumihara Academy, a fictional location within an artificial environment known as The Moon Cell. The Moon Cell composes a replication of the Holy Grail with the use of a system called SE.RA.PH (serial phantasm). A pre-human civilization takes the servant data from the Moon Cell Automaton, and in the year 2032, humans discovered it. The Automaton has recorded and monitored all incidences on the Earth-like forever. In the Holy Grail fight, each of the 128 participants has to duel the other Masters in the Arena. The winner gets a chance to make a wish from the Holy Grail.
