Super Paper Mario is an action role-playing platform, released in the year 2007 and developed by Intelligent Systems. The game comes under the third installment of the Paper Mario series. The game follows Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser as they try to accumulate Pure Hearts, which are required to stop the vicious Count Bleck and his minions from destroying the universe.

 

One of the main features in the game is Mario's ability to flip between 2D and 3D perspectives. However, most of the game played is in a 2D view. The 3D view is to get access to the areas which previously were unreachable and in solving puzzles. 

 

By acquiring a partner character known as Pixi, some of the characters in the game, such as Peach, Bowser, and Luigi, get a unique and additional ability.
