It is a 2008 trading card video game produced by Konami and a part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship series. The game is somewhat similar to its predecessor, but it does contain some additional features and new cards; 400 more cards and two game modes. Players can duel with their friends online via the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Connection.
The game begins with a tutorial mode that helps newcomers to Yu-Gi-Oh enter into the card-battle and learn the rules from scratch. It still is an excellent way for the fans to know about all the different types of cards, game structure, and more. Neo Spatial Aqua Dolphin hosts this mode and informs about the game rules, how to summon and place monsters, and how to attack and defend. Then the player gets to know about spell cards, traps, linking combos, and fusing multiple cards. Not only that, after every lesson, there's a quiz test. The next mode is the Duel World mode, which is a new addition. Here the player faces a various monster that appears on the screen. Players have to touch and select them. They might talk or challenge the player to a duel. Then, the player plays a card match against the monster. If the player wins the fight in any mode, that result in points, which can let players buy new booster packs, spells, and trap cards. The fun part is the player can customize their anime avatar. They can also practice duelling against computer-controlled opponents.
