Dragon Quest Monsters - Joker 2 (EU) Download for NDS
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 is a Nintendo DS video game distributed by Square Enix. It is the fifth game in the Dragon Quest Monsters series and the sequel of Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. It was launched in Japan on April 28, 2010, with a United States launch on September 19, 2011, with a European launch following on October 7, 2011. An extended edition of the game, named Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Professional, was also launched on March 31, 2011. It includes new monsters and their capabilities, with a similar story.
The game sold 1.2 million duplicates by July 2010. It was the best-selling game for Square Enix for the April to September time of 2010, the top-selling game in Japan for May, and the sixth-largest selling game in Japan for all of 2010.
Gameplay
The player controls up to three monsters that make up the gathering and can give them direct orders or set them to one of 4 AI settings. This game also highlights two new monster sizes: enormous monsters, which go through two spaces on one of the player's two benches, and giant monsters, who take up the entire court all alone. The primary character, referred to as Hero, doesn't directly take part in fights aside from when the player uses the items.
