It is a life simulation video game released in 2008 for the Nintendo DS by Bandai Namco Games. Despite being a similarity in the name, this game is not an official part of RPG's Digimon World sub-series. Instead, it focuses on the player raising, caring and feeding for their Digimon, learning to battle, and taking part in various activities. The game begins with an unnamed girl or a boy. You have to choose your gender and give a name, and then the fun begins. In the beginning, you are provided with a choice to select one from the three Digimon. You are a tamer whose resolution is to hunt, take care of various Digimon and train them for a world championship tournament. As you win battles, your tamer rank also increases. You can increase your Digimon's stats and abilities if you put them into different cages using the stylus. As the game develops, you can purchase more pens that have positive effects on Digimon development. They will get sick, tired and hungry and even cranky as you train them. You have to medicate and feed them properly and even have to clean up their digital leftovers. Training the Digimon involves picking them up and dropping them in the exercise zone.
The facility has three areas:
Eventually, they evolve; the process is known as digivolve. Once the Digimon stats are high enough, then they join the fight.
The gameplay gives freedom to the players to be whatever tamer they wish to be. The game also has a feature that lets the player's team battle a random tamer over the DS wireless communication. The gameplay is simple to feed and take care of Digimon and place them in the fighting tournament. In this game, the Digimons choose their attacks instead of the players. This game includes the Dracomon line of Digimon: Dracomon, Pittcon, Coredramon (Air), Coredramon (Ground), Wingdramon, Groundramon, and many more.
There are several Nintendo DS emulators for you to run these games. But based on the features and compatibility, the best of them is DeSmuMe. It comes with many features and customisation options such as you can customise the graphics and controls. Due to regular updates, this emulator is always up to date.
