It is a role-playing video game released for the Nintendo DS by Bandai Namco Games. It is the third title in the Digimon story sub-series. The game's basic idea is that the Digimon of the Digital World has lost the ability to evolve; no one has any idea what caused it. Digimon Tamers, Digimon human partners, also disappear one after another. An Agumon decides to go to the human world to find his partner. There the protagonist, i.e., the player, finds him along with some friends. However, a 3-person group kidnaps the others and then escapes into the Digital World. The player partners with Agumon to get them back and chase them into the digital world.
The gender of the character can be selected by the player. The name for the boy is Shu and for the girl is Kizuna. The character is a fifth-grader who is fantastic in both athletics and sports.
While Digimon inhabits the digital world, as a Digimon Tamer, the player goes on adventures to restore Digimon's evolution. The Digimon's evolution abilities are tied to an Evolution Tree, and each node contains DigiPlate. At the start of the game, these plates are missing, and the player's first task is to find them.
Players assume the role of either Kizuna or Shu female and male Japanese fifth-graders, respectively. They see a luminous object fall from the sky, and get transported to Digi World and meet their Digi partners. Their friends also join them; Hiroyuki, an inquisitive troublemaker, Hiroyuki's second-grade younger sister Yui and her mate Takuto and Asuka, caring-sister type. Together, they have to help their Digimon friends and defeat a group of villains known as Uno, Dos, and Tres.
There are many NDS emulators available, but the best one for this game is DeSmuMe. It's open-source, so it is continuously advancing. It runs flawlessly on both Windows and Mac. It has some useful features like USB controller support, cheat codes, and so on.
For an Android device, you should go for the DraStic DS emulator. It has many features such as controller customization, screen layout customization, support for hardware controllers, Google Drive support, fast forward, and high-end graphics.
