Duke Nukem 64, released in the year 1997, is a Nintendo 64 port for the first-person shooter in the game Duke Nukem 3D. 3D Realms and Eurocom developed the game for the Nintendo 64. It features many vital changes from the PC version as the game has a different set of weapons and expanded and modified levels intending to fight against the Alien invasion on Earth.
Here the levels in the game are not divided into an episode; instead, they are in an unbroken sequence that begins from the Hollywood Holocaust and ends at Stadium. Almost all of the levels which were present on Duke Nukem 3D are available here except the levels Tier Drops and Spin Cycle, which has been replaced by Area 51 and Duke-Burger.
In Duke Nukem 64, the imprisoned Babes can be saved from alien pods, which is a feature that didn't exist in the Duke Nukem 3D. Additionally, on the level-end screen, the number of enemies killed and the secrets found; also, the total number of Babes Saved during a level now displays after hitting the exit button.
