It is a platform video game released in 2000 for Nintendo 64 by Rare. It's the second instalment in the Banjo game franchise. The game follows the protagonists' Banjo and Kazooie and their attempt to stop Gruntilda, the witch, and her two sisters who want to vaporise the population of the island. There are a total of four levels in the game, and the player has to complete the challenges like collecting items, jumping over the obstacles, solving puzzles and defeating the opponents. Banjo Kazooie revolutionised the platform games on the N64. It consists of creative levels design, humour, and easy controls made it the highpoint of platforming Nintendo.
The game starts at Banjo's home in Spiral Mountain after a couple of years from the first game. Banjo & friends are safe and happy in his house. Gruntilda's angry and wants revenge. Then arrives Grunty's horrific sisters Mingella and Blobbelda in Spiral Mountains. After their arrival, they steal the spellbook and release Grunty. Later, the three of them vandalised Banjo's home, and escape in the digger. Banjo and Kazooie set out to take revenge on Grunty and her sisters and to get the world rid of these evil siblings. While they are on their way to search for the sisters, the three siblings use a machine called the Big-O-Blaster to suck the life from the whole world and get back Grunty's horrid fame. The wicked sisters start the clock ticking, and only Banjo and Kazooie can stop them.
