Having a great fan following around the world, Kid Icarus – Angel Land Story is an action-platform video game. Designed and published by Nintendo, this game was launched initially in Japan in December 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Many have applauded the game for its music composition and the mixture of gameplay components from distinguished genres. Kid Icarus is in the list of best games compiled by Nintendo Power and IGN. Kid Icarus – Angel Land Story had shipped 1.8 million copies around the world in late 2003 and had discovered a cult following.
The game plot revolves around the character Pit and his search for the three sacred treasures, which he needs to find in order to save the fantasy world Angel Land and its ruler, the goddess Palutena. The user playing this game controls Pit via platform areas which battling against monsters and collecting items. The primary focus of this game is to reach the end of the levels and to search for boss monsters and defeat them to get the three sacred treasures.
