The game's plot is the same as the movie Shrek 2, where the protagonist Shrek and Fiona are on a journey to Fiona's parents, who are at the Kingdom of Far Far Away. Shrek's in-laws are battling for acceptance of their daughter being married to an ogre. However, the game covers some things not shown in the movie.
