Galaga - Galaxian is a compilation of the successful and the most commercial games from the golden era of arcade games. It is a fixed shooter game that comes under the Galaxian video games series. Namco developed and published the game for the GameBoy. 

Gameplay

In Galaga, the player gets the task to destroy the Galaga forces in each stage while bypassing projectiles and enemies. Here, some enemies can seize a player's ship by a tractor beam, which the player needs to rescue to change them into a dual fighter with extra firepower. The player aims to defeat all of the Galaga aliens that fly into the formation from the screen's side and top. 

Whereas in Galaxian, the player takes control of a starship called the Galaxie, the aim being to clear each alien's course. The enemies arrive towards the top of the screen, along with two escort ships, named the Galboss or Galaxian Flagship. Enemies will get a divebomb towards the bottom of the screen while they shoot projectiles to knock or hit the player. Additionally, the enemy's movement will increase as they progress with the number of shots that the enemies fire.
