This game's story mode consists of many different tasks and challenges that you must complete to move ahead in the game. The most crucial challenge in the game is The Pyramid. In this challenge, there are a total of five duels where you need to win every single duel, as if you lose even in one duel, you would need to restart this challenge. There are many Ghouls involved in the game you need to defeat at every stage. Other than the Pyramid challenge, there are also many side challenges like the free mode challenge, which can be unlocked after completing the Pyramid challenge.
There are more than 40 cards in this game which you can choose from and play from. In the beginning of the game, you are offered one out of 3 decks from one of the game officials where you are placed in the Battle City Region. After you have finalized your deck, you can choose the Battle city region you want to duel. Every part in the game consists of three duelers, which you need to duel. The opponents you face in every battle are random and are not structured in any game stage.
Trading card games such as Yu-Gi-Oh! World edition consists of unique gameplay, which requires a user-friendly interface that you would get with a GBA emulator.
