Super Mario Advance, released in the year 2001, is a platform video game that is a remake of Super Mario Bros. 2. Nintendo Research and Development 2 developed, and Nintendo published the game for the Game Boy Advance. The game is based on the Super Mario All-Stars and also has the remake of the original game of Mario Bros.
Although the Super Mario Advance is a remake, it has many new features, such as the addition of a new enemy called Robirdo, who is a robot Bird. There are many gameplay changes, enhanced audios and graphics, multiple hit combos, digital voice acting, a new point-scoring system, enlarged sprites, and moved Mouser battle to World 6.
Mario, Toad, Peach, and Luigi begin the game with each of their lives in small forms and with just one hit point. When the player beats the boss in the game, a Yoshi challenge appears where the player can collect two Yoshi eggs, which are hidden by revisiting the previous stages. And what's interesting is, the player can select any level to gather them whether they already beat the boss or not.
