The game's story follows as Hamtaro, the main gameplay character of the game, meets up with his friends where suddenly a bright, beautiful, and colorful rainbow appears in the sky, which everybody witnesses, and out of nowhere, Bo, who is a Ham-Ham falls from the sky into a thud. When Bo is taken to the main village, they present their Bo then requests to return to his home with his magical umbrella's help. Ham-Hams appear to be not convinced by Bo, after which he twirls his umbrella; however, nothing happens due to the absence of colors from his umbrella. Hamtaro then helps Bo to find him the needed colors so that the rainbow can once again appear.
This game's gameplay is simple and highly detailed, where you would witness stylish backgrounds, detailed hamsters, and engaging animation. The main gameplay character of this game is Hamtaro which you control. In your gaming journey, you encounter many Ham-Hams as the game progresses to get further necessary knowledge. At the beginning of the game, you converse with Ham-Hams and complete some mini-games and puzzles along the way. As you progress in the game, you would experience constant increasing difficulty levels.
