Fire Emblem - Sealed Sword, also known as Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, released in Japan in the year 2002, is a tactical role-playing video game and comes under the sixth entry in the series of Fire Emblem. Intelligent System developed the game, and Nintendo published it for the Game Boy Advance.
The game takes place in a fictional continent of Elibe, which is dominated by humans for many centuries following an ancient war between dragons and humans. The story follows Roy, who is a young nobleman from the small independent republic of Pherae, and he starts a growing army against the troops of King Zephiel of the kingdom of Bern. He strives to stop the King from taking away the region by using a mysterious power.
The gameplay splits into several maps according to the story sequence, and when the player completes the game for the first time, he will get access to new maps and unlock new difficulty levels. All the battles take place in grid-based maps, which are overseen by a turn-based system, and the units from both sides get their chance to act and move. All the teams in the game have items and weapons. However, these will break after using for so long. So, the players need to repair them in between their missions.
